So, I thought about it this week and thought it might be fun to just let it all go and whine on Wednesdays. Remember The Whiners on Saturday Night Live? Doug and Wendy Whiner. They used to crack me up.
Let me start out by saying that I'm laughing at myself here. I abhor whining, so when I catch myself doing it, I usually scrunch up my nose and use the whiniest voice I can come up with. Whining is most effective, I think, when done dramatically.
So, here goes...My first edition of Wednesday Whinings:
(insert whiny voice)
1. I waaaaaaaaaaanted a logo or button or something for my Wednesday Whiiiiiining. I'm not savy enough to be able to do it and I thought someboooooody would make one for me.
2. I'm having a flare up of arthritis in one joint of my ring finger on my right hand. It really huuuuuuuurts. It huuuuuuurts when I tyyyyyype. I'm serious. Its so annoying. I wish it would go away.
3. I'm sooooooo sick of sneeeeeezing. Ah-ah-choo! The warmer weather is nice but is it eeeeeeeeever going to rain and get rid of this pollen? My eyes are watery and I loooooook awful.
so....what are you whiiiiiining about this week?
There might be a prize for the best whine!

Alright, smarty pants! You'll get your buttons ... chill!! :)
What am I whining about?
My husband - who handles everything in our lives, big and small - is going to be gone for a week. That means I have to do every.single.thing. I hate being a grown-up ... and I hate taking out the trash and I won't sleep while he's gone ... AND I was planning to just sneak in late to the 2nd service on Sunday since he won't be there anyway but he decided to have the choir sing the ONLY SONG that I have a solo in ... I've got some good whines ... now I think I need some good wine. :)
You are funny! Great blog! I'll join you on #2 above. I have RA & could whine all day about the flares. It's caused me to have headaches for over a month & has made me have 2 MRI's in the past 2 weeks. Ickkkkk....
First, I'll start by whining about there not being enough "undo" buttons in life.
And then I'll whine that my stinky smelly boys seem to only want to be with me when I don't want to be with them (alone time is hard to come by).
Then I'll whine about working my brain into a mushy pile of goo everyday and then coming home to a house full of males and dirty things.
Next, I'll whine about group projects. They just plain stink.
I think I'll go for the I don't get to spend enough time with family whine now.
Have to include the I'm noot sleeping enough and have had NO time for naps lately.
And a whine about how much I dislike drama!
I should probably wrap it up with a whine about how much I dislike whining.
And now, I'll be ready for Thankful Thursday.
Wow! Good whines, everyone. Annie, you were already getting a prize, so I'm going to take you out of the competition. Teri, I feel your pain. If/when Ed has to leave again, I'm going to be whining BIG TIME. Jodi, honey...I hope that your RA clears up soon. You should go back to a post I wrote in September about having an MRI. I had to get some 'big girl panties' and valium for that one!
